Dinosaurs In The Wild at O2

17th February 2018   (Half term trip)

8am Departure

The producers of Dinosaurs in the Wild have revealed that the new multi million-pound hit attraction will be making its way to London from February 2018. After a successful launch at Birmingham’s NEC earlier this year, prior to moving on to Manchester’s Event City this October, the show’s unique time machine will be set up on Greenwich Peninsula in London and will take families back an astonishing 67 million years to encounter amazing creatures like Tyrannosaurus Rex roaming the wild.

Londoners will be immersed in an unforgettable experience that, for the very first time, will make them feel as though they are actually there – amongst the dinosaurs, in their world, at their time. Dinosaur tourists are whisked by time machine to join scientists at an extraordinary research station – TimeBase 67 – which has been built on the Late Cretaceous Plains 67 million years ago.

On the ultimate voyage of discovery, they drive with their guides through lumbering herds of dangerous dinosaurs, watch a dinosaur autopsy, witness hatchlings emerging from eggs, plunge their hands into dinosaur poo, and visit a lookout, with panoramic views of the teeming prehistoric life in every direction..

This unique and exhilarating blend of live-action theatre, theme park fun and the very latest palaeontological knowledge will transport you back an astonishing 67 million years by time machine to encounter living dinosaurs as they’ve never been seen before.

Cutting-edge audiovisual effects and dramatic storytelling will immerse you in unforgettable experiences that, for the very first time, will make you feel as though you’re actually there – amongst dinosaurs, the most awe-inspiring animals ever to have roamed the Earth, in their world, at their time.

Planet Earth II Live In Concert

Royal Albert Hall - BBC Concert Orchestra

Sunday 13th May 2018

Departure Time: 12 noon (Concert 6pm)

Celebrate the greatest treasures of our planet in a thrilling, unique way

Planet Earth II Live in Concert brings us closer to the spellbinding animals, landscapes and wildlife dramas on our planet than ever before.

This musical and visual concert features breath-taking footage from the highly acclaimed BBCseries, shown on big screens, accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra conducted by Jessica Cottis, playing the remarkable music by Jacob Shea, Jasha Klebe and the Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer, and hosted from the stage by Mike Gunton, Creative Director of the Natural History Unit and Executive Producer of Planet Earth II.

In this extraordinary musical safari we rub shoulders with our acrobatic primate cousins in the steaming jungles of Madagascar, race alongside fearsome hunting lions in the remote sandy deserts of Namibia, face stormy Antarctic seas with a family of penguins and feel the raw tension as a baby iguana tries to escape the clutches of deadly racer snakes. We will tap our toes along with dancing grizzly bears and be swept away by the bravery of a mother snow leopard.

‘Planet Earth II may be the most amazing thing I’ve ever been involved in … some of the greatest action scenes ever put on film … some of the most emotional, epic, fragile scenes I’ve ever witnessed. Film making at its absolute peak.’
Hans Zimmer

The Planet Earth II television series is a BBC Studios Natural History Unit production, co-produced with BBC America, ZDF, Tencent and France Télèvisions

We have top seats in row 3 and back in the central arena!
