Monday 10th December 2018

Begin this fantastic, festive day by arriving at the stunning Layer Marney Tower. When you have settled and admired the surroundings, your guide will meet you and take you on a guided tour of the Palace and Tower*. Learn all about this fantastic house, which is rich with history.

After your tour, you will sit down and enjoy a festive, three-course lunch in the beautiful Long Gallery. The Long Gallery is a light and airy room, with large picture windows looking out onto the gardens and beyond to the Blackwater estuary. Once you’re full of festive food, step outside and walk over to the Church where you will be able to enjoy a Christmas Concert. St Mary the Virgin Church was rebuilt in the early 16th Century and is still used as the Parish Church. Relax and enjoy the carols being sung by professional singers and take in the Christmas atmosphere.
