Stratford Upon Avon Gin & River Cruise with Lunch – Wednesday 30th June 2021 – Coach trip from Norwich
Stratford Upon Avon
Join us for a fun and informative tour around our working distillery in Stratford upon Avon. You will discover how gin is made, learn about its history, and experience the many different ingredients used. Followed by a tutored tasting of at least 3 Shakespeare Distillery spirits, finishing with a Gin & Tonic.
This tour is complimented by a relaxing River cruise with Fish and Chips. The hour long cruise passes through Stratford’s two historic bridges, Clopton and Tramway, wend your way past the Royal Shakespeare Theatres down to Holy Trinity church where William Shakespeare is buried and then return upstream into the pretty Warwickshire countryside. On your cruise upstream you pass some very lovely riverside gardens and it’s very possible that you’ll spot the resident herons, buzzards and if you’re very lucky catch sight of kingfishers on the wing. We can guarantee you’ll definitely see Stratford’s swans!
This tour also gives you some free time to explore the independent shops and cafes in the area.
